PRODUCTION LOG : LOCATION (1) SANTA CRUZ - KUDI CHIN Part of MoEH was shot on location at Santa Cruz, Kudi Chin, an old catholic community on the west bank of Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Descendants of Portuguese catholics have been living in Kudi Chin community since 1770. Santa Cruz church served as “the seat of the Apostolic Vicariate of Siam” until 1821. / A house behind the church was a place where director, Supisara Panichkasem briefly spent her childhood. Her family, Portuguese - Vietnamese descendants had been settled here for generations.
PRODUCTION LOG : LOCATION (2) BANGKOK CHINATOWN One of the oldest neighborhood and the earliest modern commercial district in Bangkok. Chinatown is not an easy location to work, neither full scale production nor independent. Busy street, lack of parking space and clean restrooms. Yet, the Chinatown always attracts film makers (and tourists alike) for human story and its history. Kaiju-Fiction often uses Chinatown location, both in MoEH and Moon Zero Syndrome. Santa Cruz, Kudi Chin and the Chinatown are located just a few kilometers away, across Chao Phraya river.
